Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Spraydex (“Spraydex”, “we”) handles the personal data of users of the Spraydex app, the spraydex.com.br website and related services. We take your privacy seriously and process your data in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).

1. Data controller

The controller responsible for processing your personal data is Alamo Tecnologia LTDA, registered under Tax ID (CNPJ) 61.915.317/0001-42, headquartered at Rua Padre Angelo Tronca, 1524, Apto. 302, São Luiz, Caxias do Sul – RS, Brazil, postal code 95074-307.

2. Data we collect

2.1. Account and registration data

When you create an account, we collect: name, email, password (stored only as a cryptographic hash, never in plain text), CPF or CNPJ (tax ID), phone, country, state and city, user type (consultant, grower, etc.), company name and tax ID, profile photo and the date of your last login. For business (B2B) accounts, we may also collect legal name, trade name, full address, postal code and state registration.

2.2. Client and property data entered by you

While using the app, you may register third-party data (your clients and their properties), such as: client name, farm/property name, city, state, GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude), planted area, number of fields and notes. You are responsible for this data and declare that you are authorized to enter it — see the Terms of Use.

2.3. Analysis and spraying data

To generate analyses, we collect: water-sensitive paper images, crop, date, shift, paper brand, sprayer type, applied volume, metric results (droplet count, coverage, diameters, drift, etc.), the photo's location and time, weather data and additional sprayer parameters (speed, pressure, flow rate), as well as temperature, humidity and wind.

2.4. Images

Images are captured with the camera or selected from the gallery. GPS coordinates found in the metadata (EXIF) are extracted and the EXIF is removed; the coordinates are associated with the analysis. On your device, images are stored temporarily and deleted after upload. Images are used to generate the analysis metrics and so you can review them and issue reports.

2.5. Location (GPS)

We use location to: (a) record where the analysis photo was taken; (b) assist in registering clients and properties, with map and address-search features; and (c) obtain the weather forecast for the area.

2.6. Device permissions

The app may request access to: camera, location (precise and approximate), storage and media, internet and notifications. On Android and iOS these permissions are used only for the purposes described in this policy, and you can revoke them in your system settings.

2.7. Website browsing data

On our website we collect usage and browsing data through cookies and similar technologies, for audience analytics and marketing purposes. See the “Cookies” section.

3. How we use your data and legal bases

We process your personal data for the following purposes, under the corresponding legal bases set out in the LGPD:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate access — performance of a contract.
• Run and store analyses and generate reports — performance of a contract.
• Process payments and manage your subscription — performance of a contract and legal/tax obligation.
• Send communications about the service (welcome, password reset, analysis notices) — performance of a contract and legitimate interest.
• Improve the product and your experience and carry out marketing and outreach — legitimate interest.
• Comply with legal obligations and exercise rights — legal obligation and regular exercise of rights.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences (such as language), measure page performance and support audience analytics and marketing. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may stop working correctly.

5. Storage and security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as encryption of traffic between the app and our servers, encrypted (never plaintext) password storage and restricted, authenticated access. On your device, access credentials are kept in the system's secure storage. Despite our efforts, no system is 100% secure.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal data while your account is active and for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of this policy. After a deletion request, we may retain certain data for the period needed to comply with legal or tax obligations or for the regular exercise of rights. Once that period ends, the data is deleted or anonymized.

7. Users outside Brazil

Spraydex may be used by people outside Brazil. To provide the service, some data may be processed on servers or by partners located in other countries, always with appropriate safeguards. If you are in the European Union, you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); to exercise them, use the contact channels indicated in this policy.

8. Payments

Subscriptions are charged through payment providers, in the available methods. We store the payment history and subscription status — never your credit card number, which is handled directly by the payment provider.

9. Communications

We may send you: emails (welcome, password reset via a temporary code), push notifications (analysis completed, reminders) and WhatsApp messages (support and notices). You can manage notifications in your device settings and request to stop marketing communications at any time.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date of the last update. Significant changes may be communicated through our channels.
